Student News – Koki’s bike trip to Nagoya!

Bond English student Koki rode his bike from Osaka to Nagoya earlier this year, in May, let’s hear about his incredible story!

Koki has a Bianchi bike and decided to ride it all the way to Nagoya. He woke up early and left Osaka at 5:00am on May 1st, and after riding all day, arrived in Nagoya the same day at 4pm, an incredible 11-hour experience!

Koki’s trusted and faithful Bianchi:

After relaxing for a bit, Koki headed over to Nagoya dome to catch the Hanshin vs. Chunichi game, where he sat in the visitor’s section!

The next day, Koki went to the Linear Museum Nagoya, and saw the very first Shinkansen used in Japan.  The model name  ‘O Series’, which debuted in 1964, went between Shin-Osaka and Tokyo Station. It was Earth’s first above-ground high-speed train, but, militaries had already been using high-speed trains in underground tunnels by the 60’s.

Also at the museum, Koki saw incredible miniature cityscapes of Osaka and Nagoya!

Amazing trip Koki!
