Bond English student Miho recently had an unforgettable trip to Prague in Czechia, and Switzerland, let’s hear about her incredible story!
In September, Miho made the long journey from Osaka to Prague, stopping in Singapore and Frankfurt on the way!

The Osaka-Singapore flight was about 4 hours, followed by a 9-hour layover in Singapore, so Miho saw the Marina Del Sands hotel with a Merlion in the foreground:

Then it was a 13-hour flight from Singapore to Frankfurt, Germany, and finally another 1-hour flight to Prague. Total travel time was about 28-hours!
On Day 1 in Prague, Miho visited the famous Prague Castle, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, founded about 1200 years ago!

Miho also walked along the iconic Karluv Bridge, with its medieval stone Gothic-style architecture, which was featured in the first Mission: Impossible movie, as well as Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Miho also visited the Prague Astronomical Clock tower, built in the year 1410, making it the oldest astronomical clock in the world! It features regular time, as well as positions of the sun, moon, and constellations (星座). I wonder if the Pleiadians (humans from the Pleiades) like it!?

She also went inside, to the top of the clock tower, and saw a cute view of the city.

The next day, Miho took a train to the city of Telc. During the train ride she saw this interesting private room,

before arriving at Telc station.

The Historic Centre of Telc is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring a triangular market square surrounded by Renaissance and Baroque burgher houses.

Then it was back to Prague for a private tour which visited 2 main sites, Hlubaka Castle and another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the beautiful town of Cesky Krumlov. Miho hired a Japanese guide for this tour, a woman originally from Mie!
The Hlubaka Castle has a fairytale feel, and Miho did take the full tour including walking through the interior, however no photography was allowed inside.

She then went to the town of Cesky Krumlov, and saw more medieval buildings, featuring Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture!

While in Cesky Krumlov, Miho had lunch at a cool cafe with some pretty stylish table cloth designs!

For her last day in Prague, Miho visited the Prague beer museum and enjoyed 3 different draft beers!

Next was Miho’s 1-hour flight from Prague to Zurich in Switzerland 🇨🇭!

Her first night in Zurich, she went to the Zeughauskeller Zurich restaurant,

and walked to Zurich Lake, catching the sunset on the river.

But on the next day, it was ‘sayonara’ to the city, as Miho took an epic 3-hour train ride to Zermatt, home of the Matterhorn!
The Matterhorn is 4,478m high, and sits in the south of Switzerland on the border of Switzerland and Italy.
After arriving in Zermatt,

she got on the Gomerkraft train to see the Matterhorn.

And hiked around the top station to see the glaciers (氷河) and snow.

While hiking, she saw this incredible reflection (反射) of the Matterhorn in a small pond.

What a view!

And as a grand finale, Miho walked around Zermatt, having a classic tomato cheese fondue.

Incredible trip Mihooo!
